Durations can be written three ways: h:mm like 1:30, whole hours like 8, or decimal hours like 7.5. Mixing formats in the list is fine. A line the tool can't read is skipped and reported as ignored rather than wrecking the total.
When you shift a time of day, the answer wraps around the clock and tells you whether it lands on the next or previous day. So 23:00 plus 2:00 gives 01:00 the following day. List totals have no such cap and can pass 24 hours, which is what you want when adding up a week of shifts.
